Diagnostics in my naturopathic practice

Diagnostik - Labor

Initial consultation/diagnosis:

The naturopathic anamnesis and diagnostics in naturopathy include a comprehensive interview and examination of the patient in order to obtain a holistic picture of his health and possible causes of complaints.

Anamnese:
- Detailed questioning of the patient about his complaints, previous illnesses, lifestyle, diet, stress factors and other relevant aspects
- Recording of symptoms such as pain, fatigue, sleep disorders, digestive problems, skin problems and other complaints
- Identify familial diseases and genetic factors that may be relevant to the patient's health.

For the initial consultation, you will be asked to bring your current findings (blood/X-ray, MRI images) from your treating doctor, including your vaccination certificate and medication plan.

All documents available to me will be used in addition to a detailed medical history and physical examination to make a diagnosis. Depending on the symptoms, further necessary laboratory tests may be ordered.

Physical examination (as part of a general initial anamnesis):
- Examination of vital parameters such as blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, body temperature and weight
- Inspection of external appearance, skin, mucous membranes, eyes, tongue and other external features
- Palpation and tapping of organs to detect possible changes or abnormalities.

Laboratory tests:

- Blood tests to determine blood sugar, blood fats, inflammatory markers, kidney and liver values, hormones and other parameters.

- Urine tests to check kidney function, inflammatory markers, infections and other abnormalities.

- Stool tests to assess intestinal health, digestive function and to record inflammatory parameters.

- Saliva diagnostics to assess hormonal parameters such as cortisol, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone
Stress hormones: Measuring stress hormones such as cortisol in saliva can provide information about the body's stress level and stress response. This can be helpful in assessing stress exposure, managing stress, and treating stress-related conditions.

This then results in a therapy that is individually tailored to you.

Naturopathic diagnostics are based on classic laboratory values, but go beyond the usual conventional medical standards.

Accurate diagnosis is the basis for targeted and individual therapy and at the same time offers the possibility of monitoring the course of the disease.

The costs and scope of laboratory tests, which the laboratory will bill you directly for, will be discussed in advance, as will the results and treatment once the findings are available. You will of course receive a copy of the test results and my treatment proposal for your records.

My naturopathic practice only works with certified and renowned laboratories to ensure high quality.
